The Chicago Bulls traded hometown native Ayo Dosunmu to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller, and three picks.
ng, The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski reported that the Chicago Bulls are trading Ayo Dosunmu and Julian Philips for Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller, and four second-round picks. Dosunmu was having a career year with the Bulls, averaging career highs in points, field goals, and shooting percentages. Dillingham and Miller, however, have failed to crack Chris Finch’s rotation. Given the players’ lack of success and the quality of the picks, many might find this return underwhelming. To add insult to injury, Dosunmu is a Chicago native who fell to the Bulls in the second round of the 2021 draft. Nevertheless, the Bulls continue to struggle with their guards, as they now have six guards on the main roster and two on two-way contracts.
