After the mid-week break, ‘Love Island USA’ will return to our screens tonight, June 11.
The first viewer vote of the season took place after Tuesday’s episode and received so much fan engagement that the app crashed and the voting period had to be extended into Wednesday afternoon.
With so much excitement around the first vote, will the results maintain the same energy?
Here is everything you need to know about tonight’s ‘Love Island USA’ episode and what the first viewer vote will reveal.
What was the first vote of ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8?
Three new “bombshells,” Sol, Jennifer and Caleb, were introduced to the villa and the viewers during Tuesday’s ‘Love Island USA’ episode.
With new “bombshells,” the possibility of couples breaking up and single islanders usually comes along with them. The first three “bombshells” we saw this season, Gabriel, Kayda and Corbin, got to decide for themselves who they wanted to couple up with.
That isn’t the case with the most recent “bombshells,” though. ‘Love Island USA’ tasked the viewers with voting on who they believe Sol, Jennifer and Caleb should couple up with, meaning three of the current couples will be broken up and three islanders will be left single.
Could this vote cause another islander to go home this week? We will have to wait to find out.
When will the results from the first vote be revealed?
Peacock announced that the results of the first vote will be revealed during tonight’s episode, Thursday, June 11.
Who are the current ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 couples?
The current couples of ‘Love Island USA’ are:
- Kenzie and Corbin
- Beatriz and Gabriel
- Melanie and Sincere
- Aniya and KC
- Kayda and Zach
- Trinity and Bryce
Three of these couples will be broken up and re-coupled with the new “bombshells.” The couples that are impacted will be determined by America’s vote.
