Day 15 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup features another full six-match slate. Groups D, E, and F will all be decided by the end of the night. Most of the group winners have already been settled. The drama tonight is for second place and the jockeying for third place wildcard spots.
Ecuador and Germany open the day in New Jersey while Curaçao plays Ivory Coast in Philadelphia. Then the Netherlands faces Tunisia in Kansas City as Japan takes on Sweden in Arlington. The USA closes the night against Türkiye in Inglewood, with Paraguay and Australia kicking off at the same time at Levi’s Stadium for the last Group D spot.
All times Eastern and accurate as of Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 4:25 p.m.
Group E: Curacao vs Ivory Coast
Time/TV: 4:00 PM ET on FS1 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Why watch: Ivory Coast’s valiant effort against Germany came up just short. They now have to put that disappointment aside and wrap up their qualification to the knockouts. It could be a long day for Curacao as they need three points and will have to come out of their defensive shell to try and get a goal.
Why it could disappoint: Curacao have been defending for their lives all tournament. Anything less than a win sends them home. If Ivory Coast catches them out early and forces them to attack, this could be a rout.
Group E: Ecuador vs Germany
Time/TV: 4:00 PM ET on Fox at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey
Why watch: Ecuador has to throw caution to the wind and go for the win. Even with Germany having clinched the group already and possibly playing a rotated side, that is a scary proposition. No matter what, we should see a bunch of scoring chances in this one.
Why it could disappoint: If Ecuador get a goal, expect them to park the bus and try to get the three points. If Germany goes ahead, the South Americans will get desperate. Either way, there’s a high potential for some one-sided action in this match. That may not be your cup of tea.
Watch the 2026 World Cup with FuboGroup F: Japan vs Sweden
Time/TV: 7:00 PM ET on FS1 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
Why watch: This is easily the most exciting match of the third round of group matches on paper. Two very good teams who play attacking soccer going head-to-head with the stakes high. If we’re lucky, both sides will be going for the win to try and top the group. If we get that, look out. It could be the match of the entire group stage.
Why it could disappoint: A draw is actually a decent result for both teams if the Netherlands beats Tunisia. If both managers do the math early, this can settle into a cagey match where each side plays for the table rather than the win.
Group F: Tunisia vs Netherlands
Time/TV: 7:00 PM ET on Fox at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri
Why watch: Tunisia have been the most disappointing team in the tournament, conceding nine total goals in their first two losses. The Netherlands’ attack has been on fire and they need to pile on the goals to get the group tiebreakers in their favor. Expect an Oranje onslaught.
Why it could disappoint: If you aren’t a fan of teams who have already been embarrassed and shamed in front of the world getting further humiliated, this one might not be for you.
Group D: Turkey vs United States
Time/TV: 10:00 PM ET on Fox at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California
Why watch: Are you a fan of MLS-based American fringe players? Boy, do we have a show for you! Neither of these teams have anything to play for. Turkey are out and the U.S. have won the group. It’s all about staying fit and in form for the USA.
Why it could disappoint: It’s rare you see a totally meaningless match at the World Cup. Yet here we are. If you need some kind of stakes to get invested in these matches, go watch Paraguay vs. Australia.
Group D: Paraguay vs Australia
Time/TV: 10:00 PM ET on FS1 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California
Why watch: Two teams who have walked similar paths to this showdown for second-place. Both teams like to sit back and counter. Both teams can’t do that and win. It should make for a very interesting clash of styles in an intense matchup.
Why it could disappoint: Neither team possess a ton of attacking firepower. What happens when they have to come out of their shell and attack? It could be entertaining or it could be a chaotic mess.
