Weber recalls over 3.2M wire grill brushes due to breaking bristles
Feb. 26, 2026, 7:04 p.m. ET More than 3.2 million metal wire-bristle grill brushes are being recalled by Weber as the bristles could break off and get into people’s food, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said. Six different models are affected by the recall, with some being sold nationwide since 2011. The CPSC said some bristles could get stuck to grill grates and end up in people’s food, lodging themselves in individuals’ throats or digestive tracts, potentially causing internal injuries. The agency added that Weber is aware of at least 38 reports of bristles detaching, including four cases
