There have been social media rumours that Trump decided to wage this unprovoked and illegal war against Iran because of the need to divert the national attention away from the Epstein Files. Specifically, one social media rumour I came across was that Netanyahu threatened Trump to wage the war against Iran or else he would release all the compromising videos that Epstein made of him since Epstein was a Mossad agent. While that rumour sure is a strong conspiracy theory, it caught my attention for a different reason: the use of fear.
The Jewish Zionists of Israel have this innate habit of whining about being the victim in every situation. And they brought their successful cry baby propaganda to the West specifically after the 1967 war because that is when the notorious US-Israel alliance started to form.
Through the ensuing decades, Israelis have convinced a vast majority of the American people that they were the victims. Through a combination of religious and political myths such as that the Holy Bible promised the Palestinian land to God’s chosen people, and how as Christians the American people share with the Israeli Jews a common threat from the rise of Islam, and how Jews have the right of return to that land. They also pushed this complete nonsensical narrative that enemies of Israel do not accept Israel’s right to exist. No nation has to accept another nation’s right to exist. That is why there are national armies. There is no obligation on foreign nations to express such support. But the Israeli Zionists have successfully turned that general understanding into a threat to their survival, at least in the mind of the Western society.
The American political landscape, media culture, academia, and even Hollywood have all been in unison in their complete and unquestioning support of the state of Israel. Of course the Israelis have been able to achieve that feat by buying off American politicians through their front organisations such as American Israel Public Affairs Committee disguised as some American homegrown lobbying group. It all worked because while politicians were bought off, the mind control tools were very effectively working to keep the public in support of the same cause.
The politicians are still bought off but what has changed is that the people are no longer having a love affair with Israel. That has compelled Israel to unleash a different method from its toolkit. Israel is no longer winning the hearts and minds battle, so it has unleashed a fear war inside America. It has been a decades old American understanding that being anti-Israel is a career ending strategy, which prevented politicians, actors and academia from being critical of Israel. But not too many people dared say such because of the overwhelming public support for the state of Israel.
But this is a different America now. A Muslim politician was elected as mayor of the one city where 9/11 happened. And the most important aspect of Mamdani’s victory is the breaching of this ceiling where you can be critical of Israel and still win an election in America. I strongly believe he won not despite Israel bashing but because of it.
And that is why Israel has to now bend backwards to allow conspiracy theories that paint a picture of Israel being in charge of the US and how it can singlehandedly end careers of people who are critical of Israel. Israel is losing the PR battle so it has decided to sow terror in the minds of the American people. The blatant disregard of the American public opinion while attacking Iran actually solidifies that message. The American people heard loud and clear that their opinion and their citizenry mean nothing when Israel decides to spend American treasure and blood for its own war. Israel is no longer the victim but rather the entity in charge of the American government. About 94% of the politicians in Congress take AIPAC funding and they will do whatever Israel says, ignoring the American citizens.
Israel is not afraid of that messaging. It actually wants the American people to internalise this idea.
