The US Supreme Court has handed down a bombshell ruling against President Donald Trump’s global tariffs, deeming them illegal and killing them off. A furious Mr Trump responded by attacking the court’s justices as “fools and lapdogs” and vowing to resurrect the controversial import taxes. He later signed an order for a new global tariff of 10 per cent.
