BREAKING: US AIRSTRIKES IN IRAN ARE UNDERWAY – TRUMP: ‘WE’RE GOING TO BE ATTACKING THEM VERY HARD’ – IS HE WILLING TO FINISH THE JOB?

Around 5:30 p.m. EST, American bombers and fighter jets began attacking targets in Iran.
Explosions are being heard at military sites across the country.

Tonight will tell us a great deal about how serious U.S. President Donald J. Trump is about destroying the Iranian threat once and for all.

On February 28, Trump – side by side with Israel – unleashed Operation Epic Fury, assassinating Iran’s Supreme Leader, decapitating the wicked Iranian regime, and beginning an astonishingly powerful and successful military campaign to destroy Iran’s nuclear, missile, and terror threat.

The question is: How will Trump bring this war to an end?

Many Americans, Israelis, and Arabs would like to see a serious, negotiated, verifiable deal.
Others want to see a massive military campaign that leads to a knockout blow.

Trump promised his war would lead to Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”
Is he now ready, willing, and able to finish the job once and for all?

I pray he is.
There was no point starting Operation Epic Fury if he’s not willing to see this through to a decisive end.

TRUMP VOWS TO ATTACK TONIGHT

“We’re going to be attacking them and attacking them very hard,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday.
“We hit him hard yesterday, and we hit him again hard today, in case you miss it because you don’t turn on your television set,” he added.
“They keep playing us for suckers,” Trump said of what’s left of the Iranian regime.

Tehran has “taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “Now they will have to pay the price!”

Amen.

BUT OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS, TRUMP HAS LOOKED WEAK

In recent weeks, Iran has severely escalated its attacks against the United States, Israel, and our Arab allies.
Iran shot down an American Apache helicopter operating in international airspace to protect oil tankers and commercial vessels transiting through the Strait of Hormuz.

Over the weekend, Iran fired more than two dozen missiles at northern Israeli cities, including Haifa.
Tehran has also fired missiles and suicide drones at Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan.

Yet up until now, Trump has seemed strangely unwilling to use additional military force to punish Tehran.
More to the point, for weeks Trump has looked weak.

For example, Trump has castigated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu for retaliating against Hezbollah missile attacks on northern Israeli cities.

Leaks from the White House indicate that rather than dropping bombs on Iranian targets, Trump has been dropping F-bombs on Bibi, warning him not to retaliate and demanding to know “what the f— are you doing?” in the war against Hezbollah, Iran’s most dangerous terror proxy army.

To his credit, Netanyahu refused to be handcuffed, ordering the IDF to hit Hezbollah hard in recent days in response to their provocations.
Trump was furious.

But the American leader’s attitude shifted after Iran downed the Apache.
Suddenly, Trump sounds reinvigorated.

Has Iranian defiance, arrogance, and violence reminded Trump why he got into this in the first place?
Again, I hope so.

WILL PRESIDENT TRUMP NOW FINISH THE JOB?

Overall, I’m grateful the president prefers diplomacy to military force.
But we’re dealing with a genocidal regime that is a charter member of the “axis of evil.”

I am praying the Lord will give President Trump and his inner circle the wisdom and courage to truly take the gloves off.

It’s time to finish the job.

We need a clear-cut and decisive victory.

Nothing less will do.
