Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country has been named the No. 1 Best RV Campground in the country in the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, topping a national field of finalists chosen by a panel of travel experts and decided by public vote, according to a press release.
Winners were announced today across the USA TODAY Network and at 10best.usatoday.com, capping a four-week public voting window. The annual Readers’ Choice Awards spotlight the best in travel and hospitality across the U.S., with nominees curated by USA TODAY 10Best editors and a panel of subject matter experts before opening to readers.
“This recognition belongs to our team and the guests who choose to make memories with us,” said Tessa McCrackin, chief marketing officer at Northgate Resorts, which owns and operates Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country. “We set out to build a place where families can trade screens for stars, and where every detail, from the swim-up bar to the goat yoga, earns its place. Set on over 450 acres along the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country, Camp Fimfo combines premium RV sites and luxury cabins with resort-style amenities including a water park, swim-up bars, on-site dining, a zipline, an alpine coaster and year-round family programming.
